crunchy nuts founded in february 1996 and still consists of the usual line up:

kuni - vocals
holg - leadguitar
harry - guitar
britt - bass
hausi - drums

from the beginning on it was clear that only own songs and texts are to be composed. the reason for this is that every one of the musicians used to play in other bands before who used own material as well. half a year later the first four track demo tape was produced.

this demo tape became pretty popular and the first gigs were booked - among others as support for the legendary "fritten und bier" with nils bokelberg.

more and more gigs were played, usually in smaller clubs visited by 200 to 300 fans. highlight was the marburg express open air with more than 1000 visitors. in september 1998 the band did not play many gigs as they went into studio in order to record their first longplayer.

in june 1999 the first baby was born - "different worlds". of course, this had to be celebrated. on their release party crunchy nuts played together with gigantor from hannover and spnx from cottbus.

right now crunchy nuts are preparing for a couple of gigs before beginning with recording of the second album.
